“Bansuri Jab Gaane Lage”, is a Hindi stage musical on flute maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, his life and music contribution to Indian cinema (Bollywood)
Pivotal characters from Chaurasia’s life come to life on stage in a dramatic interpretation with actors enacting characters from his life story The story narrative is punctuated with popular songs from Indian cinema, in which Chaurasia has either given playback with his melodious interludes on the flute or composed the entire film’s music score
The show premiered in Mumbai on Jan 19th, 2025 at Balgandharva Auditorium to a full house, followed by 2 more shows which were also sold out performances.
Our next show is scheduled for May 30th, 2025 at the prestigious NCPA theatre in Mumbai.
