Suchismita Chatterjee began her flute training under the guidance of Late Pandit Bholanath Prasanna, and later under the legendary flautist Padma Vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia.
She completed her D.M. (Docenten Musicus) and U.M. (Uitvoerend Musicus) in Western Classical with from the Rotterdam World Music Conservatory, Holland.
She holds a bachelors and a masters degree in Vocal and Flute from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. She is the recipient of prestigious scholarships from Nuffic (Indian Embassy, Netherlands)
At Vrindaban Gurukul, she serves as a senior faculty member for the Certificate and Diploma levels of the Learn Bansuri Programs, focusing on raaga development, technique, and the authentic expression of Hindustani classical music
Debopriya Chatterjee is a distinguished Bansuri artiste and senior disciple of the legendary flute maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. She began her training under the eminent musician Bholanath Prasanna and later continued her advanced learning with Pandit Chaurasia, inheriting the depth and purity of his musical tradition.
She is a recipient of the National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the prestigious Nuffic Scholarship awarded by the Indian Embassy in the Netherlands.
At Vrindaban Gurukul, she serves as a senior faculty member for the Certificate and Diploma levels of the Learn Bansuri Programs, focusing on raaga development, technique, and the authentic expression of Hindustani classical music.

Eligibility Criteria for the Programs
- FOR THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM (ONE YEAR)
- Applicants must have finished SSC (Std. X) from Maharashtra State Board or its equivalent recognised by other institutions.
- Students should have basic knowledge about the techniques of playing flute and be able to play the basic Swaras with at least 1-2 years of learning experience.
- Students must pass an audition test supervised by Vrindaban Gurukul faculty.
- FOR THE DIPLOMA PROGRAM (TWO YEARS)
- Applicants must have finished the H.S.C. (Std. XII) exam from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent recognized by another institution.
- Students should be able to give a 15-minute performance and demonstrate basic knowledge of ragas. Should have learnt for more than 2 years prior to joining the course.
- Students must pass an audition test supervised by Vrindaban Gurukul faculty.
- Passing both the academic exam and the audition is necessary for eligibility.
- The audition test plays a vital role in evaluating applicants' musical skills and deciding their suitability for the program.
